This project was originally designed as 2 large duplex houses on a steeply sloping block in St Lucia. Our client purchased the site from the previous owner, with a DA prepared by Small Architecture Studio. Our brief was to convert the original building design into student accommodation, servicing the nearby University of Queensland campus, with rooms able to be let separately to individual tenants, and to further develop the design through to construction.
